Jade Palace is the benchmark chinese restaurant for which all others should strive to look, observe, take notes, and adopt thier outstanding skills. For one thing, consistently. If you ever heard the phrase consistently kills a restaurant. I have dined here for 40 years, yes, 40 years when the restaurant was split up for smoking and non-smoking but you'd always get the same combination plates or Jade palace special or steak qew the list is endless. Your going to get the same plate and that's saying something when your now longing for your favorite meal. It becomes like a home meal, a destination of sorts a must try for anyone wanting a Chinese food that actually tastes good, is always hot, gives you what is listed on the menu and at an affordable price.
Food was good and served hot and quickly. The portions are good sized here so bring your appetite. The decor us dated. I usually order for pick-up.
This is my hometown Chinese place, and that's probably why I like it so much. It's not always the best but it's my favorite. I always get it when I'm home in the area and the pork fried rice and chicken fingers are my favorite. I have tried Chinese other places and it just isn't the same. They do have a large inside area but take out is just as good. Lots of different dishes with decent prices and big portions.
Quick service and always fresh. I recommend the chicken fried rice. Well worth it. Have a drink at the tiki next door while you wait for your food.
